10/14/2011 : There's a tall ship that docks at Navy Pier in Chicago that I keep meaning to go on. This last weekend I a friend and I went out on the Sea Dog (another of Navy Pier’s attractions), and got pretty close to the tall ship while out on the lake. I shot off an image of the top of the masts while we went past, but was not impressed with the initial shot. Last night I was trying to make something of the image, and found that a panoramic crop worked quite well. I then did some processing in Nik Siftware’s Color Efex Pro, and here is the result.
